As you’re journeying around my portfolio, perhaps you’ve noticed by now - mental health and healing are a big part of my work, because I care deeply about the subject. For almost ten years, I’ve been working on projects that use actors to portray youth dealing with trauma. Digital Diaries: Trauma Avengers takes it to the next level with its delivery; the series of films are part of a website (traumaavengers.com) that follows a series of characters (our heroes) through their struggles. The website is used as a resource for therapists and serves as a way to encourage youth to bravely and openly talk about their own struggles with mental health.
